Monique Jackson is the Administrative/Logistics Coordinator for KHA. In this role, she provides administrative and operational support to KHA staff as well as logistics and event planning for KHA projects.  

Prior to joining KHA, she was division manager of consumer planning and advocacy for an AIDS service organization in Montgomery, Alabama, where she implemented and delivered evidence-based health programs. She has also served as compliance manager for the United Way of Central Alabama, where she developed and implemented compliance and documentation standards for sub-grantees of the Ryan White Part B grant. She also helped implement various programs in partnership with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Alabama Department of Public Health.  

Monique earned a B.S. in health promotion and an MAEd in community health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also a certified health education specialist and has over 18 years of experience designing, implementing and evaluating health programs.  

She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama.
